On Saturday, Sept. 23, 2006, more than 30 registered participants plus faculty and student guests attended "Designing for a Difference," a one-day workshop on newspaper editing and design. The goals? To raise awareness about design and editing techniques that truly help readers. To change the way the participants think about news design. And to raise money for a good cause, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. In all, more than $3,000 was raised by the one day event!
HANDOUTS: In this area we will post links to handouts provided at or after the workshop. Come back often! (Note: clicking links in most cases will automatically download the PDF. You will need Acrobat to view it.)
